Norm makes his classes FUN! That’s why we keep coming back. He teaches in a  professional manner, but relaxed, never intense. He encourages style and perfection,  yet we never feel intimidated or ashamed if we try but don’t succeed. We can all laugh at our efforts and mistakes. The Friday night 8:30 slot is perfect-- time to digest dinner and no work the next day. I can always plan our travels so that we don't miss Norm’s class. As for the dances he hosts, we always have a great time practicing the dances we have learned. Having Norm and Jeanette there to dance with, to give us pointers, is the highlight.

When Rich and I started lessons it was all his idea. Since we have had so much fun  meeting new people and learning dance from a really GREAT instructor, we will keep doing it until we can’t anymore. We will continue to tell everyone how much we  enjoy taking Norm’s classes.

We were at another studio for awhile, but we were increasingly frustrated as we did not seem to be able to learn the dances well enough to go out dancing. We knew we loved to dance, so we started looking for a new studio. That is when we met Norman. He has brought the fun back into dancing. His style of teaching and incredible patience makes it easy to learn to dance. He not only teaches you the steps but also the proper posture and hand movements. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is able to make all of his students feel at ease. At the end of each class you are amazed at how much you have learned and how much fun you have had. We always look forward to our classes. Now we feel comfortable to go out and show that “We can dance”.
